Ontario town gets first No Frills

No Frills has opened its first location in Bowmanville, Ont.

Located at 95 Baseline Road West, Tim’s No Frills offers hot chickens, in-store baked goods, an assortment of Hot Wheels, PC Express pick-up and delivery and Flashfood, along with a large seasonal garden centre.

Store owner Tim Charles has nearly a decade of experience with the Loblaw Companies banner. Over the years, he has worked in stores and communities across Ontario, including Pembroke, Orléans, Stittsville, Windsor and Hamilton.

“Our goal is to offer great value, quality products and convenient options while building strong relationships with our customers and becoming a trusted part of the Bowmanville community,” said Charles in a release.

The new store will create more than 80 jobs.

To celebrate the grand opening, Tim’s No Frills will donate $1,500 to the Bowmanville Hospital Foundation.
