The Ontario Produce Marketing Association (OPMA) has a new president. Stephen Reid has been tapped to lead the not-for-profit organization.

Reid, who steps into the role Feb. 28, is replacing Michelle Broom, who announced her resignation in December.

Reid’s career includes roles with the Ontario Medical Association, the Pharmacist’s Association of Newfoundland and Labrador, and the Police Association of Ontario.

According to a press release announcing his hire, Reid has “led or worked within teams on several pieces of legislation-regulations.”
