OPMA president Michelle Broom resigning
A search for Broom's replacement will be held over the coming weeks
The Ontario Produce Marketing Association (OPMA) has announced that its president Michelle Broom is resigning, effective Feb. 11.
In a press release, Broom, who served as OPMA president for three years, is credited with many successes including “safely navigating” the organization financially through the pandemic and growing its digital footprint.
OPMA’s board will begin a search for Broom’s successor in the coming weeks.
