Food, Health and Consumer Products of Canada (FHCP) brought together industry leaders last week for its annual CEO and Executive Leadership Conference. 

Held October 12 and 13 at the White Oaks Conference Resort and Spa in Niagara on the Lake, Ont., this year’s theme was “Waves of change: Navigating a dynamic world.”

Speakers included David Coletto, public opinion analyst, pollster, social researcher and CEO of Abacus Data; Amy Karam, global competitive strategist and educator; Amber Mac, innovation speaker, cost-host of The Feed on SiriusXM and president of AmberMac Media Inc.; Rocky Ozaki, business transformation and culture innovation expert; Jack Shaw, innovation and change management strategist; Benjamin Tal, managing director and deputy chief economist, CIBC Capital Markets; and Hayley Wickenheiser, four-time Olympic gold medalist and member of the Hockey Hall of Fame.

Topics discussed ranged from emerging technologies to consumer sentiment, innovation, the economic outlook for 2024 and more.

Finally, Kruger Products’ CEO Dino Bianco was presented FHCP’s 2023 Award of Distinction.

The award recognizes Bianco’s contribution to, and leadership within, FHCP and the Canadian food, health and consumer products manufacturing industry.
