Loblaw-owned Wholesale Club opened its first-ever store in Brampton, Ont. Thursday (Dec. 12).

Located at 85 Steeles Avenue West, Wholesale Club provides more than 7,000 food service products, including multicultural foods, restaurant disposables, and professional-grade kitchen equipment.

The Brampton store will feature a special focus on South Asian and Caribbean food and products to meet the community.

As part of the opening, Wholesale Club is donating $1,000 to the Salvation Army.

“We are excited to bring Wholesale Club to Brampton and support the dynamic community of small businesses and food service professionals across the Peel Region,” said Dino Naccarato, SVP, national wholesale, in a release. “With a dedicated leader like store manager Kenny Martins, a member of the Loblaw family since 2010, we’re confident in our ability to help local entrepreneurs thrive while delivering exceptional value and service.”

The food service wholesaler offers no-fee business membership, business-friendly store hours and exclusive savings. Members can earn PC Optimum points on qualifying purchases.
