Sobeys grows its discount network in Western Canada

FreshCo opened two new locations in Calgary on Thursday (Aug. 13).

The banner’s Northgate and Thorncliffe stores are part of Sobey’s broader strategy to grow its discount network in Western Canada, the company said.

FreshCo Northgate is located at 339 36 Street NE, while the Thorncliffe store is located at 5607 – 4 Street NW.

Grand opening celebrations included remarks from the store manager and Sobeys leadership and a ribbon cutting.
