Who: Tim Hortons
What: The iconic coffee chain is spreading some cheer this season with the launch of its first-ever Holiday Smile Cookie campaign.
From Nov. 13 to 19, Tim Hortons will donate 100% of the proceeds from each holiday cookie sold to local charities and community groups including the company’s Tim Hortons Foundation Camps.
The first Smile Cookie campaign launched in 1996, originally raising funds for Hamilton Children's Hospital. Since then, the company has raised more than $111 million across North America for charities and organizations.
"For over 25 years, our guests have enjoyed rallying with us during every Smile Cookie campaign to raise important funds for charities and community groups close to home," said Tim Hortons chief marketing officer Hope Bagozzi, in a press release.
“We know our guests across Canada will be thrilled to help us support the spirit of kindness this holiday season,” she added.
The Tim Hortons Holiday Smile Cookie is a white chocolate chip sugar cookie that's infused with red and green sprinkles, adorned with a hand-decorated smile.
