Toronto grocer The Sweet Potato closing Leaside store
Independent retailer says it will focus on flagship store in The Junction
Toronto independent grocer The Sweet Potato is closing its Bayview-Leaside store.
In a statement shared to Instagram Tuesday (Feb. 11), the company said the decision will allow it to focus on The Sweet Potato’s flagship store in Toronto’s Junction neighbourhood.
The 16,000 square-foot Leaside store closes its doors Friday almost two years after opening.
“We’re so grateful for the opportunity to have been a part of the Bayview-Leaside community and hope you’ll visit us soon,” the statement, written by co-owners Digs Dorfman and CJ Chiddy.
