UNFI Canada hires Carla Anger as sales director

UNFI Canada has tapped Carla Anger as its new sales director, regional CBT.

Anger (one of Canadian Grocer’s Star Women of 2016) brings more than 30 years of experience in consumer goods and was most recently consulting director for Total Negotiation Group.

Prior to this and having risen through the ranks of Kimberly-Clark, the executive held various cross functional leadership roles in sales, marketing, category, operations and ultimately VP and general manager for the organization.

She steps into the role on Feb. 27.

“Carla is known for her strength in building teams and her strong customer focus,” Ali Davies, VP of sales for UNFI Canada, said in a statement. “She has a keen understanding of our Canadian customer base and is going back to her roots as she moves West after many years in Toronto.
