Vineland hires VP of operations

Lincoln, Ont.'s Vineland Research and Innovation Centre has added a new member to its leadership team.

Chris McQueen joins Vineland as VP of operations to oversee operations, safety, human resources and facilities, including Vineland’s greenhouses and research farms. He will report to president and CEO Ian Potter.

“Vineland serves a diverse audience of customers and partners, from growers and industry clients to academia, government and not-for-profit organizations,” said Potter in a press release, “and we are pleased to welcome Chris and his unique blend of senior leadership experience to our team.”

McQueen most recently worked built at management consulting firm Disruptive Ideology, where he assisted with strategic planning and execution, business plan development and more.
