Voilà by Sobeys expands to Ottawa

Voilà by Sobeys has expanded service to Canada’s capital.

Online or through the Voilà mobile app, customers in the Ottawa area can order from a wide-range of items including Farm Boy products and ready-made meal solutions from Oliver and Bonacini.

Powered by British e-grocery company Ocado, each order is picked by robots and delivered by teammates in temperature-controlled delivery vehicles within a one-hour window of the customer’s choosing.

Customers can rely on Voilà by Sobeys because of our freshness guarantee and our 99% product accuracy," said Sarah Joyce, senior vice- president, e-commerce, Empire Company Limited.

Empire launched its grocery delivery service in June 2020, servicing customers in the Greater Toronto Area. Construction is currently underway on CFCs in Calgary (2023) and B.C. (2025).
