Walmart Canada raises $3.8M for Breakfast Club of Canada

What: The retailer raised a total of $3.8 million for Breakfast Club of Canada, including a $1 million corporate donation, during their joint 23rd annual campaign. 

During the annual campaign, which ran from Sep. 18 to Oct. 10, Walmart customers were able to donate in-store or online towards Breakfast Club of Canada’s mission to support and provide funding to school breakfast programs.

"We're incredibly proud of what our associates and customers have achieved together during this year's Breakfast Club of Canada campaign," said Rob Nicol, vice president, corporate affairs and communications, Walmart Canada. "Their support means even more children can start their school day fueled to learn, grow and thrive."

Since 2003, Walmart Canada and its customers and associates have contributed more than $75 million to Breakfast Club of Canada.
