Plant-based food company Zoglo’s has appointed Paul Del Duca as board chairman. He is replacing David Sugarman, who is stepping down for personal reasons.

Del Duca’s career spans more than 40 years in the grocery industry, having held leadership roles with such companies as A&P Canada, Dominion Stores, Metro, Sobeys and Walmart Canada.

He has also served as a board member for United Grocers Inc., and the Canadian Council of Grocery Distributors.

"We're thankful for David's contributions to the growth of our company and wish him the best in his future endeavours." said Anthony Morello, CEO of Zoglo's, in a press release.

"We are equally excited to welcome Paul as our board chairman and look forward to incorporating his experiences and industry relationships into our growth strategy," Morello added.
