Farm Boy expands north with Collingwood, Ont. location
Farm Boy is expanding into Northern Ontario with a new store in Collingwood, set to open on March 26.
The location at 39 Huron St. is taking over a former Sobeys store and will employ several of the same team members, according to a press release from the Empire-owned banner.
Similar to other Farm Boys, the Collingwood store will feature a custom mural inspired by the community and region, and will offer all the hallmarks the retailer is known for, including farm-fresh produce, soup bar, salad bar, private-label products, and butcher-quality beef, chicken and pork.
“We’re delighted to be bringing 'A Farm Boy Fresh Twist' on the food experience to Collingwood and to serve this vibrant, close-knit community,” said Shawn Linton, president and general manager of Farm Boy Company Inc., in a press release.
“With great food, excellent value, and friendly service, we’re excited to be Collingwood’s newest friendly neighbour, bringing our fresh-market experience and becoming a trusted part of the daily routine of the community here.”
