Who: Longo’s

What: To help support the mental health of workers at local hospitals that have been hit hard by the pandemic, the Longo’s Family Charitable Foundation has donated $150,000 to Mackenzie Health, Trillium Health Partners and William Osler Health System. And to inspire community contributions, the Foundation will also match all offers received from donors (up to $150,000).

“We are incredibly proud to be supporting these three hospitals,” says Rosanne Longo, Longo’s spokesperson and chair of the Longo’s Family Charitable Foundation, in a press release. “Nowhere have the impacts of the pandemic been felt more strongly than in healthcare. Our foundation is committed to investing in the people and communities that need it most and, for us, that means supporting front-line hospital workers who have worked tirelessly to keep our communities safe and healthy. We know it’s been a struggle and we are here for you.”
