Chantal Templeton is headed back to Canada.
After most recently serving as general manager of Mars Wrigley’s ice cream business in the U.S., Templeton has been appointed as general manager for the company’s Canadian business.
Templeton brings more than 20 years of experience to the role having held sales, marketing and strategy roles within the company’s Chocolate, Pet, Food and Multisales units. Prior to Mars, Templeton spent more than 10 years at Procter & Gamble.
“Chantal’s extensive knowledge of the CPG industry both in Canada and globally, coupled with her drive for results and passion for developing people will provide great leadership and inspiration to our associates,” said Anton Vincent, regional president, Mars Wrigley North America.
Templeton is also joining the board of directors at Food, Health and Consumer Products. She will help “foster growth, innovation and consumer trust within the food and consumer packaged goods industry,” according to the release.
