No Frills has launched a new campaign as it looks to achieve zero food waste sent to landfill from its stores by 2030.

The “No Waste. Yes Savings.” campaign highlights the discount grocer’s food waste reduction initiatives. No Frills has also launched #NoWasteWednesday across its social channels, where it will share tips for consumers to keep food “fresh, delicious and out of the landfill.”

Among the Loblaw Companies banner’s food waste reduction initiatives are: the elimination of multi-buys in 2024; its partnership with surplus food network Flashfood; and its support of Food Banks Canada.

No Frills is also partnered with Loop to provide food to farm animals.
