No Frills planned for Warman, Sask.

No Frills is coming to Warman, Sask.—a growing community located about 20 kilometres north of Saskatoon.

To be located at 700 Centennial Blvd., the discount grocery chain’s new store announcement follows the opening of Normand’s No Frills in Emerald Park, Sask. last month. That store spans 32,000 square feet.

Loblaw Companies has said it is looking to bring the banner to small communities.

“Smaller communities are an important part of how we think about growing the No Frills network and serving more Canadians,” Jennifer Teixeira, senior vice president, No Frills Operations, said in a press release following the opening of a No Frills in Dutton, Ont. in July. 

No Frills will host a hiring event on Aug. 26 at 701 Centennial Blvd. for the Warman store. The retailer said it is looking to fill part-time cashier and clerk positions.
