Several Buy-Low Foods stores in B.C. have introduced new price position.

The update is part of the Pattison Food Group brand’s renewed focus on fresh departments, a simplified assortment and everyday value.

Buy-Low Foods also launched a refreshed flyer and new “customer-focused features.”

Locations in Hope, Vancouver (Fraser Street) and Burnaby (Royal Oak and Parkcrest) are now operating under this approach.

Two additional stores in Riverside and Brookswood will transition to the new format in the coming months, on June 18 and July 9, respectively.

Additional new features include: expanded value-driven promotions via a “Drop Zone” for limited-time deals; consistently low prices in fresh produce, meat, deli, bakery and dairy; bulk food options; and a “Fresh Guarantee.”

“Customers are more focused than ever on value, and it’s critical that we continue to meet their needs,” said Pattison Food Group president Jamie Nelson in a press release. “This change allows us to offer sharper pricing, a simpler shopping experience and a strong fresh offering, all while staying true to the local service our customers count on in these important communities.”
