Rabba hosts 26th annual charity golf tournament

What: The Toronto-area grocer hosted its 26th annual Rabba Roots Charity Golf Tournament on Monday (Sept. 9).

The event, which took place at the Brampton Golf Club, was held in support of the Rabba Roots Community Giving Program.

The program supports Food Banks Mississauga, Trillium Health Partners and other local organizations

The event featured activations from companies in the grocery sector, including Maple Leaf Foods, Nestlé Canada, Coca-Cola Canada, Molson Coors, Danone Canada and Italpasta. 

"Our commitment to supporting the communities we serve is deeply ingrained in everything we do at Rabba," said Rick Rabba, president of Rabba Fine Foods, in a release. "It is an honour to work alongside such incredible partners who share our vision and continue to collaborate with us on important projects that make a real difference in people’s lives."

The 2024 Rabba Roots initiatives have been supported by major corporate partners such as Maple Leaf Foods, Burnbrae Farms, WK Kellogg Co. and Danone Canada.
