Toonies for Tummies hosts breakfast events in Alberta and Nova Scotia

The Grocery Foundation recently hosted two Toonies for Tummies breakfast events in Calgary and Pictou County, N.S., respectively.
On Feb. 20, more than 40 industry colleagues prepared breakfast for kids at St. Cyril School in Calgary. Members of the Sobeys, Safeway and Calgary Co-op leadership and store teams were also in attendance.

Two days later, on the east coast of Canada, more than 30 leaders took part in a Toonies for Tummies breakfast event at Pictou Landing First Nation School.
The morning's breakfast began with a smudging and included a gift offering by Sobeys in thanks to the school.
