Located at 4647 Johnston Road, Save-On-Foods Port Alberni features a health and beauty department, fresh, handcrafted sushi, cakes made in-store, a bulk food section with pantry staples and household essentials and Western Family products.
Other offerings include Unreal Deal, with new deals every week, and Bonus My Offers digital coupons.
Customers can order groceries online or via the Save-On-Foods apps for curbside pickup starting Sept. 3.
“One of the key ingredients that makes this store special is the team members behind it," said Brook Weightman, store manager of Save-On-Foods Port Alberni, in a press release. "Throughout the store, customers will find knowledgeable and enthusiastic experts ready to answer questions, share recommendations, and lend a hand. Our team is passionate about Port Alberni, and we can’t wait to connect with the community.”
Jamie Nelson, president of parent company Pattison Food Group, said the retailer is proud to deepen its connection to the community.
"Opening this store is another way we're investing in Port Alberni, and we're excited to strengthen our presence, build on the relationships we've established here, and bring customers more of what they already love about Save-On-Foods,” Nelson said.
