Buy-Low Foods has transitioned its store in the community of Riverside in Surrey, B.C. to its new price position.
The Pattison Food Group grocer held the grand opening of its renovated store on June 18.
Located at 14865 108 Avenue, the store introduces an “enhanced shopping experience,” with improvements across key fresh departments including produce, meat, deli and bakery alongside simplified assortments and competitive pricing, Buy-Low Foods said.
Customers will also find several new features including: a “Drop Zone” for limited-time deals and larger format savings; expanded bulk foods with reduced packaging; a refreshed assortment of fresh products; a Fresh Guarantee; and an enhanced global foods offering.
The store will continue to be led by store manager Ben Schaeffer.
“This store brings our focus to life with strong fresh departments, great value and a simpler, more convenient shopping experience. By strengthening our fresh offering, sharpening our value and simplifying the shop, we are making it easier for customers to get what they need and save on every visit, all supported by a dedicated team that is deeply connected to its community,” said Jamie Nelson, president of Pattison Food Group, in a statement.
The next Buy-Low Foods to transition to the grocer's new format is its Brookswood location in Langley, B.C. The supermarket slated to open on July 9.
